Who manages your data?

We are Lublin Union GR & Audit, based in Lublin at ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 24. This document explains exactly what we do with the information you leave on this website. We are not a large corporation with a legal department in another country, so we take care of your privacy in a human way and in accordance with Polish regulations. If you write to us about a blocked transport at the border or request an audit of export invoices, we need your data simply to be able to help you. Your first name, last name, e-mail address, or phone number are safe with us and treated with due seriousness.

We use this information only for contact regarding the specific business matter you are asking about. Marek Zapała and our team of analysts are the only people who have access to your messages. We do not send spam and never trade your data with other companies. Everything is done in accordance with GDPR principles, but without unnecessary fluff about complicated procedures. We want you to feel confident entrusting us with the analysis of your trade documents. If you have any questions about how we protect your privacy, you can simply call our office in Lublin.

What information do we collect and why?

We only collect what is necessary for our reliable work. When you fill out the contact form, we ask you to provide basic details: first name, last name, and business e-mail address. Often, in the message content, you describe your problem, for example, by providing a specific CN code for the goods, the weight of the load, or the number of the customs terminal where your truck is held. This specific information is needed so that Marek Zapała can prepare a realistic quote for the audit or intervention within the promised 3.2 working hours.

  • Contact details: used exclusively to discuss your order.
  • Document information: we analyze them to find errors before the customs officer does.
  • Server logs: technical data about your connection that ensure website security.

Our website also saves standard technical information about your visit. We do this to ensure the service works efficiently on your computer or phone. If you decide on a full contract audit, we will need scans of documents that you send us by e-mail. We treat each such file as a strictly confidential trade document. Numbers don't lie – we make sure that every piece of information is protected against access by third parties, because we know how important secrecy is in cross-border trade.

Your rights and control over data

You have full control over what we know about you. The border is not just a line on a map, and transparency in data is the basis of trust for us. At any time, you can ask us exactly what information about your company we store in our resources. You have the right to correct them, for example, if you have changed your position in the company or have a new phone number. If you decide that our help is no longer needed and you want us to completely remove your data from our system after the audit is completed, we will do so without asking unnecessary questions.

Simply send a short message to our address [email protected]. We do not use complicated forms or make procedures difficult. Marek Zapała personally ensures that every request for data inspection is processed without undue delay. Please remember, however, that we must keep some data for a certain period due to accounting and tax regulations if we have issued an invoice for our services. Apart from these exceptions, your data disappears from our contact lists at your every request. We check facts, not promises, so your right to privacy is our priority.

Cookies and website analytics

The Lublin Union website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that help us understand whether our customs advice and service descriptions are clear to you. Thanks to them, we know, for example, if our audit cost calculator is working correctly and if users find answers to their questions in the FAQ section. We do not use these technologies to track your movements on other websites or to display intrusive advertisements to you across the internet. These are simple analytical tools that make it easier for us to manage content.

If you do not want your browser to save cookies from our site, you can change this at any time in its settings. However, you should know that after disabling cookies, some elements of the service, such as the quick quote inquiry form, may not work as fast as we would like. No fluff – we use anonymous statistics only to improve our offer for exporters from the Lublin region and the surrounding areas. Your privacy is more important to us than advanced digital marketing tools. We focus on reliable advice, not on collecting unnecessary information about users.
