Fact-based experience

Marek founded Lublin Union GR & Audit in March 2016 after eight years of working in the logistics departments of large manufacturing companies. He is not interested in theoretical lectures on customs law because he knows that in business, what matters is the time spent at the border. In 2023 alone, he personally supervised 114 export documentation audits for local enterprises from the Lublin region. He starts every project by checking the simplest invoices, where the most costly errors are usually hidden. Honestly, most administrative penalties result from overlooking one field in a declaration, not from a company's bad will.

Marek's work is primarily about numbers and specific savings. Last October, he helped a medium-sized carpentry plant recover 14,200 PLN in overpaid customs duties due to an incorrectly assigned CN code. His approach is simple: we check documents the same way a tax audit would, but we do it two months earlier. As a result, 47 of our regular clients passed inspections without any reservations in the last quarter. Numbers don't lie, which is why Marek rarely uses adjectives and more often shows an Excel table.

He can be direct and rarely beats around the bush. If a company's documentation is a mess, Marek will say so at the first meeting over coffee at the office on Krakowskie Przedmieście. He specializes in difficult Eastern markets where regulations change every few weeks. (Heads-up: Marek believes that contract stability is more important than short-term profit, which he often emphasizes in conversations). In his work, he uses his own proprietary risk verification method, which he refined while handling 12 large construction contracts carried out outside the European Union.

Beyond auditing work, Marek ensures that Lublin Union GR & Audit is a place where the client gets a clear answer within 4 hours of sending a question. He doesn't like fluff about company vision; he prefers a specific schedule of actions. Last month, he shortened the customs clearance time for a parts importer by exactly 2.5 days simply by changing the way certificates of origin were archived. These are real changes that are visible on the company's account at the end of the month.

The border for him is not just a line on a map, but a real logistical and legal challenge. Marek often repeats that a well-prepared binder of documents is the best insurance policy for an exporter. If you are planning to ship goods worth more than 50,000 PLN, Marek will likely find at least two points in your procedure that require improvement before the customs officers arrive. His effectiveness stems from the fact that he has seen thousands of incorrect declarations and knows what officials look at first.
